What Did He Call Me?
He called me an “old-timer?” How did that happen? I mean, I was a rock-and-roll chick who partied until sunrise. I was cool!

Our modern society paints humanity with such dark, negativity. Yet, when I posted about my anxiety, I received kindness, thoughtfulness and caring from people who have only met me through a blog. As I pondered the paradox of the two, it brought forth the following poem.
Juice and the Underdog
It seems to me, underdog movies do quite well at the box office, especially in sports. Just a few examples of many are, The Rookie, Rocky, Rudy & Seabiscuit. (Apparently, many of them start with the letter R, too.) One of my personal favorite underdog stories has nothing to do with sports called, Gattaca.
