You know what’s “working” for me lately, Lori? Turning them off proved ultimately impossible for me in the long run. Now I allow them to exist as part of Presence, but then look deeper inquiring with these two questions: What do I really want now? and Is it the truth now? Amazing insights keep coming up and I can see through the stories more easily without just trying to get rid of them, if that makes any sense.
This makes perfect sense, Kathy, and it’s great advice. In fact, I already used your second question on an imaginary problem that started bothering me last night. I didn’t even realize I did it until you put that here in your response. I can also use your first question on this one too. Thank you for sharing this. Hugs.
Oh, so true! The difficulties I often imagine end up being so much more than the reality on the ground.

And how many imaginary problems have we all had? I’ve had more than I can count. 🙂

So true, Kathy. I have imaginary problems as we speak. I could conquer them if I could turn them off. 😛

Well said! Sometimes the things in our head are far scarier than the actual hurdles outside of us. 🙂
