Time

Time is something I feel I have very little of these days. I’m in the process of a lot of stuff happening in my life. For the next week, it’ll be difficult to get to anyone’s blogs.

Victim

Because I don’t see you as a victim,
you’ve made me your perpetrator.
Because I see you as empowered,
you’ve made me ignorant.
Because I don’t blame your mistakes
on anyone else,

Optimist or Realist?

For a long time, as a teenager and into my twenties, I tended to look at the glass half-empty. I was aware of this attitude, but wasn’t quite sure how to change it. 

I met my husband in my early twenties. His entire family’s optimism blew me away. I wanted some of that sweet, positive-attitude nectar, and I drank it. I loved spending time with them.
