I Spy with my Little Eye

Woo hoo, and yeehaw! I’m finally leaving the heat and humidity. We made it from central Florida to just south of Nashville and the temperature is already much more comfortable.

If I have time and an internet connection, I will post photos of what I spy with my little eye each day. I apologize, but I probably won’t get to read your blogs during this trip. I do enjoy keeping up with you guys though, so if I get the time I will stop by.

In the mean time, here are mostly photos I shot from behind the windshield of the car as we were moving. I don’t have time to fix them at all  in a photo program so they’re going up as is. Please excuse the quality, and pardon the bug juice on the windows. I took them on the fly. Hee, hee.

Excerpts from my Diary Part 3

North Georgia mountains Day 3 – (See Day 1 here, Day 2 here)  Slowwww, morning. Get up and kick around the cabin. Eat cereal, drink tea. Do nothing. Read blogs. Do nothing. Shower. Brush the dog.

We leave the cabin at 12:30 to go into town. We buy lunch at the only fast food restaurant in the area and take it over to a park with picnic tables, alongside a river.

If you read my blog last week, you’ll remember I was having bouts of vertigo. We planned a trip months earlier, and I feared I wouldn’t be able to make it. I got meds from the doctor and decided to go anyway.

I took notes in my journal during the trip to the north Georgia mountains. Here are bits and pieces with the added addition of photos.
