A Peek Inside a Secret Diary
During another era, in a different century, I got to meet my idol. I was nineteen years old. For a long time now, I’ve wanted to write a story about it but wasn’t sure I had enough material.

Excerpts from my Diary Part 3
North Georgia mountains Day 3 – (See Day 1 here, Day 2 here) Slowwww, morning. Get up and kick around the cabin. Eat cereal, drink tea. Do nothing. Read blogs. Do nothing. Shower. Brush the dog.
We leave the cabin at 12:30 to go into town. We buy lunch at the only fast food restaurant in the area and take it over to a park with picnic tables, alongside a river. Continue reading “Excerpts from my Diary Part 3”
Excerpts from my Diary Part 2
Day 2 (read part 1 of my travel diary here) – Wow, my hair isn’t drooping and my eyelashes are staying curled. I guess there is no humidity up here in the north Georgia mountains this time of year. We had April humidity in Florida something fierce already. I’m not looking forward to this summer. So, for now I enjoy this mountain air.

Excerpts from my Diary Part 1
If you read my blog last week, you’ll remember I was having bouts of vertigo. We planned a trip months earlier, and I feared I wouldn’t be able to make it. I got meds from the doctor and decided to go anyway.
