Halloween Month

When we arrived in Appalachia, the hills were mostly green. As each day passed, like magic or special effects in a movie, green morphed into ambers, rusts, pinks, and scarlets (see header photo).

A Glimpse of Halloween

What a perfect night for Halloween in suburban Chicago 2018. The temperature requires only a sweater. The sky displays layers of pale yellow to pinkish-gray, reflecting onto golden glowing trees.
