Extra Ordinary

muniart3 (800x757)wmI had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend with family and friends. I can’t express how overjoyed I was not not to have to drive 100 to 1,200 miles to be with loved ones.

Take a Break

I have two close friends, and they both live 1,200 miles away. I have other friends, but none of them have gotten to know the deepest me, like those two. And, they stuck around anyway.

The Difference a Year Makes

Don’t Hate Me Because I’m Hot  was the name of my blog post one year ago. The first weekend in March, 2012 I went to the yearly Florida Art Festival in town and …whooo-wheee, was it ever hot.

You can click here to read about how hot it was last year. Photos of the river are posted there too.

To compare, below are photos of the patrons from each year. You may need to click on it to see the clothes better.

In all honesty, I AM grateful not to experience freezing temps, but I’m NOT glad about the HEAT! I guess you can call me “Goldylocks,” and not because I have golden locks.

Soooo … on Saturday I broke myself away from this addicting blog universe, and went to the yearly Art Fest downtown with my husband. We decided to take our dog, Max, with us. Continue reading “Don’t Hate Me Because I’m Hot”
