Fantasy and Real Life
Marsha A. Moore has featured my Kindle Scout campaign on her page today.
UPDATE: This campaign has ended. Thank you to everyone who helped me out. My Novel, Whit’s End, has now been published. You can find it, HERE.
You wouldn’t think that an author who writes contemporary fiction and one who writes fantasy would make good critique partners.
Happiness
Ava Whitaker, one of the main characters in my novel, is at her Whit’s End over her shambles of a marriage. She tries everything to make it better. One thing that brings her some hope is reading inspirational quotes.
I share such quotes here on my blog frequently. Sometimes they can give us a boost, even if only for a short time. I thought I’d share another today.

Monday Poem
In case you missed my post on Saturday, I entered my first online poetry contest on the Best New Poems site. I’d sure love for you to cast a vote for me. Once you get there, click one of the social media buttons at the bottom of the poem.
In asking for your help with votes, I can’t help but think of this Chicago song (below) from 1977. Thank you to all who voted for me.
