Coping with an Injury

I’m slowly returning from a blogging hiatus after my husband’s accident. We’re still dealing with things, but learning to manage it a bit better. I can’t say for sure, but I hope to post a blog once a week now, plus another for the wisdom quotes I share. I would also like to read more of your blogs when I can. I may not have as much time to comment, but I’ll let you know I read with a ‘like.’ I really do read, I’m not one of those bloggers. 😉

Yesterday I posted a Wednesday Wisdom quote. Hmm, something seemed off about that idea . . . it wasn’t Wednesday! When I realized it, I was mortified that I got the days mixed up. Then I laughed. What a doof! (a word I usually reserve for the love of my life, ;-)).

After I laughed, I decided it was a nice message anyway, so I’m leaving it.

Even though I experienced a taste of the fall on my visit back home a couple of weeks ago, where I live, I don’t get any change of seasons. So, I’m blessed to live those changes through my lovely blogger friends.

Another Celebration!

On August 10th I celebrated my 100th post. Now, nine months and 118 posts since I started blogging, I finally reached 10,000 hits! I also recently surpassed 200 followers at 204!

I love blogging. I love meeting bloggers. I had no idea how much time it would take up in my life, and for a while, it took away lots of my writing time. I may eventually cut back to one or two blogs per week, but for now I’m still too obsessed to slow it down.

A 100th Post Celebration

Not quite eight months ago, I started this blog as a means to market my short story anthology, and ended up getting completely addicted to blogging. I had no idea when I started this endeavor, how much I’d enjoy it, and how many wonderful people I’d meet. It’s a social network all it’s own. I don’t even use those other ones except to post my blog link.

Mouse Elbow

Well folks, mouse elbow is apparently the same type of pain as tennis elbow, and I’ve got it. It must’ve occurred because I’ve been back to doing a lot of writing, not to mention the addition of blogging and commenting on other blogs. Looks like I’m going to need to take a break this week from blogging.

Here are a few of the things I’ve been doing to help. If anyone has any other suggestions, please feel free to share them. I probably won’t comment this week though.

Maybe it’s just me

Has anyone else noticed a new format for the main WordPress site? It’s after you go to the topics page and click on a topic. The topic you click on comes up in a different format than before. If yours is changed, do you like it?
