Healing Hearts Day

So, I’m just going to say it, I don’t like Valentine’s Day, and this is coming from someone who has had a love in my life for 30 plus years. Return to the scene of a Valentine’s Day non-Date

I’m not a fan of Valentine’s Day. I feel like it’s a superficial way to force couples to remember each other. And, somehow it seems like it’s all the man’s responsibility to do something to celebrate. Anyway, I prefer when the love flows naturally. We ignore the holiday by attending a fun filled food affair (can you tell I like alliterations?).

A Peek Inside

A couple of weeks ago, I wrote a blog post about a prince and his maiden being married for twenty-eight years. Would you like to take a peek at their anniversary celebration? It was no royal festivity or anything, but they had some nice scenery and good food. Keep in mind that the maiden has a very old phone without a monthly plan (buys minutes), and she’s sharing the photos from it. She refuses to enter this century and get an iphone (or the like).
