Love and freedom are inseparable. You cannot love if you do not have a choice. All forms of bondage are assaults not just on freedom, but on love itself, because love cannot exist when you lose the freedom to choose. If there is love, there must be the freedom to choose. To give and receive this freedom takes courage. It takes heart. It takes patience. But that is the nature of love. When you establish conditions on love, you experience the conditions, not the love.
