Many of you know about my broken refrigerator saga (starting on November 19th!) and my subsequent nasty cold. I thought I was finished writing about that true story, but it turns out that I’m not.
I’ll spare you the gory details of my cold, but I didn’t get much done over the last ten days. Pretty much been attached to my bed and/or the sofa, struggling to breathe.
While I’ve been sick, my husband went out of town for a family wedding over the weekend and,
wait for it . . .
The refrigerator broke again.

Yeah.
Due to being stuck inside with the nasty cold, I’m running behind on getting Christmas stuff done. Thankfully, I’m on the tail end of the sickness, and probably (hopefully) by the time this blog entry posts, I’ll finally be out Christmas shopping. It remains to be seen what will happen with the refrigerator. I know this too shall pass, and that there are many people in the world less fortunate. I’m grateful to have a modern refrigerator at all, and especially thankful to be home for the holidays celebrating with family.
I may not be around much until after the first of the year. I thank you all for following along with this silly saga and supporting me throughout the year(s). I wish you a blessed holiday season, and may the best things that happened this year be the worst of what happens next year.
I hope to hang with everyone soon, and hopefully get back to writing more insightful posts.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Oh, and one more thing.
Bears made the playoffs.
GO BEARS!
I love your posts and will love to read more in 2019!
All the best for you

Hi Tee. Been away from the computer and blogging since that last “refrigerator post.” I’m doing much better but things aren’t quite settled down yet. Hopefully next week I’ll be able to get back in the swing of blogging. Thank you for reading and Happy New Year to you, too.

Hope you’re feeling MUCH better, getting your shopping done, and perhaps Santa will bring you a better repairperson. ;-0 Congrats to the Bears….but I must confess, since I live in NE, I’m a Patriots fan. :–) Happy New Year!

Sounds like you have the refrigerator from hell. Hope your cold is gone very soon. One good thing about cooler weather is that you can store extra food outside in a cooler if your fridge isn’t co-operating. Enjoy your break.
