If you are an author, how long does it take you to write a novel?
While I was in Kindle Scout, I met some fantastic authors. We’ve been discussing the many facets of our writing processes. Some of our answers are shared on Joynell Schultz’s Blog today. You may even find a new favorite author in fantasy, paranormal and sci-fi. Click to read her post with a peek inside our discussion.

So, I have a question for you, Andrea. Was the one you wrote in 6 weeks your first or second book? I’m being told that my second book will go quicker.

Strictly speaking it was my third, as I did write a horror novel that I shelved in a drawer (can’t remember how long that one took), so yes, I’m getting faster, although I think maybe 6 weeks was a bit of a fluke 🙂

Thank you for responding, Andrea. I can’t wait to get started (or continue, since I already started over a year ago) with my next novel. I’ve been so busy over the last 18 months with moving and now releasing my novel, I haven’t had a chance to get to it. I have about 5 chapters written from a while ago.
Good to hear you’re getting quicker. Your writing always captures me.

Good luck with it Lori, I think with the first we find our way so hopefully it’s always a little quicker the next time round!
