Winter Cyclone

We’ve had six inches of snow or better for the last three weekends in a row. On top of that, my husband and I had a cyclone hit our house. It was named JNC. A picture of it is below.

nickbday2-800x449This is actually a photo of a birthday party a few months ago, but the three combined create an unstoppable cyclone. They spent this past weekend at our house for a before-Christmas treat. As you can tell from the photo below, even Max was wiped out after the whirlwind passed through.

Despite our exhaustion and literal body pain the next day, we had a wonderful time hanging out with our nephews. So blessed to be able to spend time with them after living far away for so long.

As a result of the busy weekend, I was away from the internet the whole time. I checked in on Sunday night before bed, and it appears that most people are busy, as wecover9titlethere seemed to be little activity.

I’m popping in today for a reminder to enter the Goodreads giveaway contest to win a free paperback copy of my family saga novel, Whit’s End. Five copies are available at the previous link. The contest goes until December 21st (2016).

If you’d rather read the Ebook version, it’s available for purchase. Just click the book cover.

I won’t be able to put out another reminder, except for perhaps a quickie on facebook or twitter. Life is getting busier for the holidays. I’m very excited to be having Christmas at my house.

Enjoy the season.

  1. I remember visits from my twin nieces and nephew, when they were young, Lori. It was always fun, but they wore me out. 🙂
I’ll email you after the holidays. Hopefully you can guest post in late January, if that works for you.
Wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas!
