The breeze caresses my skin like cool mint.
My hair gently flows in its wake.
Dried, golden-brown leaves lie beneath my feet
Some break free and clip-clap along the pavement
Like approaching footsteps
A last day of fall offers a blazing sun
Balancing the crisp wind with warmth
A dog barks in the distance
Rumbling car motors carry on the current
Trees sway
Branches play
Stillness displays
Blessed on this lovely day
