Bountiful Breezes

As icy winds descend upon the north
the sweet breath of relief
breaks the high fever of the south
that has been boiling since March
a cobalt blue sky
beautiful bountiful breezes
reinvigorate the soul
moods liftsky palms wm (800x450)
the trees
the grass
the plants
flow freer
lighter
pets prance
a spring in their step
free from the strangling grip of the fever
bodies are revived
replenished
rejuvenated
The voice wants to sing in exaltation
Hooray, hooray
liberation

    1. Oh, I was so grateful for that weather over the weekend. Looks like we’ll have more of it this weekend if the weathermen are right. BTW, I posted about the Gong Show Pitch Fest today if you want to read it when you get a chance. Thanks for stopping by, JM.

    1. No problem, Miss L. I know I certainly don’t appreciate the hot months here. I don’t care for really cold weather either, so stay warm and bundle up. It’s still warm enough here to send warm hugs.

    1. Sorry, Jill. When it’s cold for you, it’s nice for me, and when it’s unbearably hot for me, it’s nice for you. This poem has the first words that came out of me after waiting 7 months for this weather. Hallelujah! 🙂 Thanks for the nice comment.
