The chill in the air drifted me back home
…. and enveloped me so lovingly that I melded
into one with you …. but for only
the blink of an eye …. then, the bustle
and worries of the season returned,
leashing me once again. ~ Lori (L. Virelli)

I wish I could go home to be with my family this Christmas, but alas, it’s off to the in-laws in Georgia! This was very sweet, Lori.

Hey Kathy, I know this was a cryptic message, but the “one” I melded into for the blink of an eye in this little ditty, was THE One. I remembered the oneness for a fraction of a second. Sigh. I rarely get there (our true home) anymore, and I miss it to my very core.

I know what you mean about THE One. I know what you mean about missing it to the core. If one has had a glimpse….it sometimes becomes almost unbearable to not be home. Yet, in another way, another part of me thinks we’re always home and keep missing the realization of that. Love, Kathy

Yep, we keep forgetting to just rest in home. It’s really tough in physical form to remember this, at least that’s how I see it. I knew you’d understand. ๐

Hey, as long as I don’t have to go to fb, I’m good. ๐ Thanks for sharing my thoughts Mr. Pete. BTW, we can become fb friends if you’d like. I don’t go there much though. My blog posts show up there automatically.
