Views from an Evening Walk

After sharing views from a morning walk a couple of weeks ago, I thought I’d share some from an evening walk today. (Update: I lived in Florida on the original date of this post but have since moved).

I saw this guy above me just a couple doors down before leaving my immediate neighborhood.

Heading back home these colors bid us goodbye.
What's this? Mustang Max! In case you didn't know, my husband's a car guy. He's refurbishing this 1966 mustang. Original color was red. It's now gun metal gray.

    1. Hey Terri! In Florida there are mixes of really nicely kept homes in with shabby ones. I kept out the latter. Thankfully, we have a few more of the nice ones. Thanks for coming by and commenting on my posts. Have a great holiday weekend.

    1. Thanks for coming along on the walk, EllaDee. We have a guy around the corner from us who feeds feral cats and doesn’t get them fixed. I’ve sent the guy a couple of anonymous letters with info on where to get it done for next to nothing. Thank you for sharing the link. They did just pass a law in my county that if we trap a cat and bring it to the county, they’ll neuter/spay and set them loose again.

    1. The warmth may help your garden, but certainly not this soil. It’s very sandy. It’s difficult to grow anything but native plants. Guess that’s why there’s so many palm trees here. Thanks for walking along with us, Anneli.

      1. Our soil is very sandy here too. I have to buy pickup loads of composted topsoil just to grow anything. But it would be fun to grow more tropical plants.

        1. Heh, that shows who the gardener is between the two of us. I’d have no idea how to get things to grow here. I can barely get a plant to grow inside my house. Interesting to learn about your soil though.
