Views from an Evening Walk

After sharing views from a morning walk a couple of weeks ago, I thought I’d share some from an evening walk today. (Update: I lived in Florida on the original date of this post but have since moved).

I saw this guy above me just a couple doors down before leaving my immediate neighborhood.

An inviting pathway to home.
What an inviting pathway.

Yep, another kitty. I wish the people who fed them would get them fixed.
Here is the winding lake I mentioned in this sub-subdivision.

Heading back home these colors bid us goodbye.
What's this? Mustang Max! In case you didn't know, my husband's a car guy. He's refurbishing this 1966 mustang. Original color was red. It's now gun metal gray.
We arrive home and what’s this? Mustang Max in his messy garage. In case you didn’t know, my husband’s a car guy. He’s refurbishing this 1966 mustang. Original color was red. It’s now gun metal gray.

Thanks again for coming along on another walk with us.

P.S. This neighborhood has lots of dark secrets you can read about here.

    1. Hey Terri! In Florida there are mixes of really nicely kept homes in with shabby ones. I kept out the latter. Thankfully, we have a few more of the nice ones. Thanks for coming by and commenting on my posts. Have a great holiday weekend.

  1. Thanks for the lovely walk! Ours was a bit cool and cloudy this evening, but it was good to get outside and clear the brain, even if my allergies are being a pain. 😉

    1. Thanks for coming along on the walk, EllaDee. We have a guy around the corner from us who feeds feral cats and doesn’t get them fixed. I’ve sent the guy a couple of anonymous letters with info on where to get it done for next to nothing. Thank you for sharing the link. They did just pass a law in my county that if we trap a cat and bring it to the county, they’ll neuter/spay and set them loose again.

  2. What a nice walk. I feel both peaceful and energized by it. I think my husband would like your husband’s remodeling project.

    1. Thanks for coming along with us, Kathy. Sounds like your husband may have enjoyed it too, well, at least when we got home by that Mustang. 🙂

    1. Thanks for coming along, Susan. Wish you could’ve really been there with me and taught me a thing or two on how to use that lighting. Love your photos.

    1. The warmth may help your garden, but certainly not this soil. It’s very sandy. It’s difficult to grow anything but native plants. Guess that’s why there’s so many palm trees here. Thanks for walking along with us, Anneli.

      1. Our soil is very sandy here too. I have to buy pickup loads of composted topsoil just to grow anything. But it would be fun to grow more tropical plants.

        1. Heh, that shows who the gardener is between the two of us. I’d have no idea how to get things to grow here. I can barely get a plant to grow inside my house. Interesting to learn about your soil though.

  3. Great galley, Lori .. you live in a very nice neighborhood … tidy and well looked after gardens.
Love ginger cats … Garfield, my favorite. Would love a swing in that cozy photo. Lovely post again, Lori.
