I Spy with my Little Eye Pt 2

Hey and Howdy!

Here are the photos of day two of our road trip from Florida to Chicago. To see the photos of day one, check here. Again, please excuse the quality and bug juice on the windows as I took these on the fly. 😉

On the road again in northern Tennessee.  (for use of photo, please attribute to Lori and this website)
Waving to the Grand Old Opry as we speed by.
Hey, are we headed in the wrong direction? I just left palm trees and Latin food.

Besides the city of Indianapolis, this is about all we see through the rest of the state … except for the next photo.

These windmills went for miles and miles, and they went back as far as the eyes could see.

We stopped at a cornfield to see if Shoeless Joe Jackson might come out. For those of you unaware, that’s a reference to the movie, Field of Dreams.

Okay, let’s skip to the end and finally getting to Mom’s house. It’s good to be home. 🙂

How comforting to see Mom welcoming us at the door. (A week from now see if we’re still smiling after living in the same house together 24/7. Hee, hee.)

Can’t wait to see Dad and my long time friends who’ve stayed in touch with me for all these years I’ve lived 1,200 miles away. If I have the time I’d like to share more. Blessings to all who read this.
