Debby’s Done

I was going to post on Mondays and Fridays, but I might sneak one in here and there. This time I wanted to share the update that Debbie has left the building … or rather … the state. Buh Bye.

Everything is fine in our neck of the woods, but hurricane season has only just begun.

The the sun is returning and the place is gettin’ steamy. In the mean time, Max the dog will be happy to be able to get out and play some more. Not me, I stay indoors in this heat like people do in the winter up north.

There is still water on some streets, but it’s receding. The bridges across the bay are open again. Life is getting back to normal, until the next one. Let’s pray they move north into the Atlantic from now on, and hit no land.

  2. So happy to hear all is well with you. They had predicted that Debby was headed our way (Texas) but she gave up. (I don’t blame her, I don’t know why I’m here either! 😉 )

  6. Great news …. tropical storms isn’t the best adventure in the world to go through. So happy that you have got some rain and the air will be fresh again to breath.
