Wednesday Wisdom

Commit yourself to a dream … Even if someone fails when they try to do something great, they are not a failure. Why? Because he can always rest assured that he succeeded in life’s most important battle … he defeated the fear of trying. ~ Robert H. Schuller

That is a wonderful quote for me to remember as I prepare to send a manuscript out to beta readers.

  2. So true. If we never gave things a try we’d get nowhere.

Very well said … great choice of quote .. and I love your little blue butterfly.

  4. great quote and even better comment by Carl

  5. I did this when I ran for office twice. I never had a chance but garnished an amazing 26% of the vote. I became quite polished out there, learned what to have thick skin means and how to take it on the chin. Every one of the policies upon which I campaigned were enacted by the subsequent administrations. I remain confident and am a power to be dealt with in any endeavor I choose to initiate.

Thank you for sharing this, Carl. It is true, that on the times we don’t win, there is so much we can learn and gain from the loss. We really win in ways of educating ourselves and growth. Good to see you, thanks for stopping by.
